My Buddy Steve Paletta was the big winner on Oprah's Big Give last night. A bunch of us watched it together at the Sundown Saloon and it was a magical moment when they announced it and we watch his whole family greet him. He won the whole thing, $500K to give away and $500K for himself. The best news is this is just the beginning for him and he is well prepared to take this opportunity to the next step.
Steve is a remarkable guy with a big heart, a gift for connecting with people and getting things done. I wouldn't still be doing what I'm doing without his friendship over the past ten years. Way to go Steve!
